YourFlights started as a place to remember your flights. A private logbook for the trips that mattered, with the stats and the map to back them up. Today it becomes something more. YourFlights 5.0 is here, and it brings the part that was always missing: the people you fly with.

Unlimited flights, now free for everyone

Here is the big one. Logging flights is now unlimited and free for everyone. No caps, no paywall on the one thing the app exists to do. Whether you fly twice a year or twice a week, every takeoff and landing has a place in your logbook at no cost. Build the complete picture of your flying, however far it stretches.

See where your friends are flying

The new activity feed puts the people you follow front and center. Every time someone you follow logs a flight, it appears in your feed with the route, the aircraft, and the story behind it. Follow fellow travelers, see where they are headed, and keep up with everyone who just crossed an ocean.

Finding people is simple. Open Friends to search for other travelers, manage who you follow, and review the people who follow you.

Every flight tells a story

A route is just two airports until you add the story. With captions, every flight can carry up to 280 characters of context: the upgrade you finally scored, the delay that turned into an adventure, the friend in the next seat. Mention them with @handle and the caption links straight to their profile.

It is not just words, either. Add photos to any flight, so the view from your window seat, the aircraft on the tarmac, or the lounge before boarding lives right alongside the route and the numbers.

Celebrate the journey together

Flying is more fun when it is shared. You can now like and comment on the flights in your feed, so a milestone trip gets the reaction it deserves. The community ranking shows how your flying year stacks up against everyone else logging their miles, always anonymized.

If you ever bought extra flight capacity through an in-app purchase, thank you. You backed YourFlights when logging more meant paying more, and you helped get us here. Now that logging is free for everyone, we did not want that support to go unrecognized. Every one of those purchasers has automatically received complimentary Premium for a limited time, on us, with our thanks. There is nothing to claim and nothing to do. It is already on your account.

Your data is still yours

Going social does not mean giving up control. Every flight carries its own visibility setting:

• Members: visible to anyone signed in to YourFlights.
• Followers: visible only to the followers you approve.
• Private: visible only to you.

You choose per flight, and you can set a default that matches how you like to share. Aggregated community statistics never reveal your identity or the details of any single flight. The full rules live in our privacy policy.
